La Quercia Agriturismo is nestled among the rolling hills of the Grosseto Maremma, just 10 km from the city, in an ideal location for easily reaching the sea, the mountains and the beautiful, unspoiled Maremma Natural Park. Here, you will have the opportunity to encounter wildlife living freely in their natural habitat, including roe deer, wild boars, foxes, squirrels, badgers and martens. From the park’s observation points, you can also admire a wide variety of bird species, such as flamingos, herons and many others.
A large garden with a swimming pool and hot tub is available for guests, providing the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The farm estate covers 28 hectares of land, including 7.5 hectares of vineyards and 2 hectares of olive groves. It is located along the renowned Wine Roads of the Maremma Hills. The vineyards are part of the prestigious Morellino di Scansano wine appellation, which helps define the landscape of this area, rich in history and Etruscan heritage.
The estate’s vineyards are primarily planted with Sangiovese, the principal grape variety used in the production of Morellino di Scansano. The harvested grapes are delivered to the Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano winery, where they are transformed into excellent wines. The olive grove produces a traditional Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, known for its rich character and pleasantly peppery flavour.
