Agriturismo La Quercia is set on the rolling hills of the Grosseto Maremma, just 10 km from the city, in an ideal position for quick access to the sea, the mountains and the beautiful and unspoilt Maremma Natural Park, home to wild animals such as roe deer, wild boars, foxes, squirrels, badgers and martens and, in designated birdwatching areas, flamingos, herons, and many other species.
A large garden with a swimming pool is available to guests, ideal for spending relaxing holidays in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The farm covers 28 hectares, including 7.5 hectares of vineyards and 2 hectares of olive groves. It is located along the “Strade del Vino dei Colli di Maremma” wine route. The vineyards belong to the Morellino di Scansano appellation and help define the landscape of a territory rich in Etruscan history and culture.
The estate’s vineyard is primarily devoted to the cultivation of Sangiovese — the grape variety for Morellino di Scansano. The estate supplies its grapes to the Vignaioli winery for the Morellino di Scansano to produce excellent wines. The olive grove yields a typical Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, robust and with slightly spicy notes.
